AUTHENTIC INDIGENOUS IMMERSION IN CANADA’S YUKON TERRITORY

Every family has a story. Welcome to ours…

Make new friends and amazing memories.
Shakat Tun means summer hunting trails in our Southern Tutchone language. At Shakat Tun Wilderness Camp you’re experiencing the Allen family home and traditions, surrounded by nature’s splendour, refreshed by pure mountain air, and immersed in the hospitality of Canada’s Indigenous people. Located north of the village of Haines Junction on the edge of Kluane National Park, our camp overlooks Kluane Lake ~ only a few hours from Whitehorse International Airport.

“Your place & space is magical. I’m grateful that you allowed me to explore the land and learn the history of your land. Your food was delicious and appreciate that you all are keeping the spirit of land alive in tradition.”

– Jill Young (6/1/19)
